Cinnamon Waffles



One of the best waffles that are made without using milk is cinnamon waffles. Like other types of waffles, cinnamon waffles can be made easily and tastes delicious as well. To make cinnamon waffles, you need:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups of buttermilk
  • 8 tablespoons of melted butter
  • A half teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups of all purpose flour
  • baking powder around 1 ½ teaspoon
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/3 cup of sugar
  • ground cinnamon about one teaspoon
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • Salt around a half teaspoon
  • Whipped cream for serving

Cinnamon waffles are served with caramelized apples. The ingredients for caramelized apples are:

  • 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 6 Fuji apples. Peeled the apples, cored them, and cut into slices
  • A half cup of sugar
  • One teaspoon of cornstarch
  • ground cinnamon about a half teaspoon
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
  • Salt, around ¼ teaspoon
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

First you need to make the caramelized apples. To do this, melt the butter in a skillet. Use medium-high heat to melt the butter. After that, add sugar, apple slices, cinnamon, cornstarch, salt, and nutmeg. Mix the ingredients until apples are coated evenly.

After that, you can make the waffles. Mix buttermilk, egg yolks, vanilla, and melted butter in large sized bowl. Whisk them together. After that, mix baking powder, flour, cinnamon, sugar, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in medium sized bowl. Add the flour mixture to the yolk mixture and whisk them until smooth. Pour the egg whites in another bowl and beat them on medium-high speed. After that, fold the egg whites carefully into batter.

Preheat waffle maker using medium-high heat. Pour a 1/3 cup of the batter into the waffle maker and close the lid. Wait 5 to 6 minutes until it cooked. Repeat the process for remaining batter. Once it done, serve the waffles with whipped cream and caramelized apples.

Brown Sugar Bacon Waffles



Other great waffle that can be made without using milk is brown sugar bacon waffles. Bacon is delicious. But if you use it for waffle, you can make waffle without milk that will be perfect for your breakfast menu. This type of waffle is also quite unique as well. You might never make waffle using bacon before, did you? Well, now you can try this recipe. The ingredients that you need for making this amazing bacon waffle are including:

  • 10 slices of bacon
  • ¼ cup of brown sugar
  • 3 cups of all purpose flour
  • One tablespoon of baking powder
  • One teaspoon of baking soda
  • Salt around one teaspoon
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 2/3 cups of canola oil
  • 4 large sized eggs
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ cups of buttermilk

If you don’t have canola oil, you can use grape seed oil.

Once you have all the ingredients, you can start making the waffle. But before that, you need to prepare the bacon first. To prepare the bacon, preheat the oven and use non stick cooking spray to layer the baking sheet. Create single layer of bacon on the baking sheet. Sprinkle the bacon with brown sugar. Bake the bacon until it’s crispy and brown. Once the bacon is baked, remove the bacon from the oven. Wait until the bacon cool and cut the bacon into several bits. Set aside the bacon.

After you prepare the bacon, you can start to make the waffle. To start it, you can preheat the waffle iron. Mix baking soda, baking powder, flour, brown sugar, and salt in a large sized bowl. Whisk them until blended. Mix eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla extract in medium sized bowl. Whisk them together. Add the eggs mixture into the flour mixture. Fold them. After that, add the bacon bits. Stir the mixture. Once you’ve done, pour the batter into the waffle iron and wait for several minutes until it’s cooked.

Chocolate Fudge Waffles
Chocolate fudge waffle is another type of waffle that can be made without suing milk. To make this type of waffle without milk, the ingredients that you need are including:

  • 2 large sized eggs
  • ¼ cup of vegetable oil
  • One teaspoon of vanilla
  • One cup of buttermilk
  • One cup of all purpose flour
  • ¾ cup of sugar
  • A half cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • baking powder  around a  half teaspoon
  • A half teaspoon of baking soda
  • Salt around ¼ teaspoon
  • ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
  • A half cup of chocolate mini chips
  • Assorted toppings and ice cream

After you get all the ingredients, you can start making this type of waffle by preheating the waffle iron. Mix the eggs, vanilla, and oil in a bowl and whisk them. Add buttermilk into the mixture. After that, add sugar, flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg. Stir the ingredients until they combined. After that, you can add the chocolate chips. Use nonstick spray to spray the waffle iron. Pour the batter iron the waffle iron and wait until it cooked. Serve the waffle with topping and ice cream.
