–       3 separated eggs

This is another classic waffle recipe, different with Belgian waffle recipe above, this recipe uses baking powder as the fluffy agent. Besides, this recipe also has a variation that will let you enjoying a different taste.


–       2 cups of all-purpose flour

–       3 tablespoons of sugar

–       1 tablespoon of baking powder

–       A half of teaspoon of salt

–       2 ¼ cups of milk

–       6 tablespoons of vegetable oil

–       2 eggs in large size

As the variation, you can add one of additional ingredients below to the batter:

–       A half one cup of pecans (chop them finely)

–       Half of one cup of walnuts

–       10 tablespoons of blueberries (you can choose frozen of fresh blueberries, but you don’t need to thaw the frozen blueberries first)

–       5 tablespoons of mini chocolate chips


  1. Mix all of the ingredients inside a large bowl until they are perfectly blended.
  2. Rest the batter about 5 minutes before cooking.
  3. The batter is ready to cook by toast them in your preheated waffle iron.
